Southern Yemenis Prayer Requests

• Pray to the Lord of the Harvest to call out people who are willing to reach out and share the love of Christ with the people of Southern Arabia.
• Pray specifically that God would lift up volunteers from among Christian Arabs, who would be willing to come and share their faith among the people of South Yemen.
• Pray that God would lift up faithful intercessors who will stand in the gap of the people of Southern Yemen.
• Pray for the economic situation of Southern Yemen. With a growing population rate, an impoverished society, and a scarcity of employment, the economic future of the Southern Yemeni Arabs is bleak.
• Pray for “Men and Women of Peace,” who will be able to open the doors to the Gospel among the Southern Yemeni Arabs.
• Pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal Himself among the people of Yemen, so that their hearts would become open to the Gospel of Christ.
• Pray that the Holy Spirit would facilitate a movement among the Southern Yemenis so that they might become involved in sharing the Gospel among themselves, and then throughout the Arab World (Acts 1:8, A Church Planting Movement).
• Pray for openings in the areas of Education, Health, and Community Development, so that God would provide areas of opportunities for His people to serve among the people of Southern Yemen.
• Pray for the Christian Expatriot Community of Yemen, that their lives would be a light among a lost society.
• Pray for Yemeni Christian Believers, that they would have physical and spiritual protection and that they would have boldness in sharing their faith with family and friends.
• Pray that the Spirit of God would move among the Southern Yemeni Arabs, shaking their lives to such an extent, that it would be impossible for them to deny Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives.
• Pray for an outreach to all Yemeni Arabs living in areas outside of Yemen. Pray specifically that they might find “The Truth,” and in turn to share that truth with friends and family back in Yemen.
• Pray that as the Southern Yemeni Arabs were very influential in the spread of Islam during the renaissance of that world religion , that they might again, during the 21st century, be used of God to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Arabian Peninsula and the Middle East.
• Pray for the Great Commission Christians serving to share the Gospel throughout Southern Yemen. Pray specifically that they would know and follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit in their lives

• Pray that God would raise up scores of people to join with us as we lift up all the People of Yemen, before His throne, seeking His Mercy and Power for their lives.
