Soqotris Prayer Requests

Pray to the Lord of the Harvest to call out people who are willing to reach out and share the love of Christ with the people of Soqotra.
Pray specifically that God would lift up volunteers from among Christian Arabs, who would be willing to come and share their faith among the people of Soqotra.
Pray that God would lift up faithful intercessors who will stand in the gap for the people of Soqotra.
Pray for "men and women of peace," who will be able to open the doors to the Gospel among the Soqotra.
Pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal Himself among the people of Yemen, so that their hearts would become open to the Gospel of Christ.
Pray that the Holy Spirit would facilitate a movement among the Soqotris so that they might become involved in sharing the Gospel among themselves, and then throughout the Arab World (Acts 1:8, A Church Planting Movement).
Pray for openings in the areas of education, health, and community development, so that God would provide areas of opportunities for His people to serve among the people of Soqotra.
Pray for Yemeni Christian believers, that they would have physical and spiritual protection and that they would have boldness in sharing their faith with family and friends.

Pray that the Spirit of God would move among the Soqotris, shaking their lives to such an extent, that it would be impossible for them to deny Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives.
Pray for an outreach to all Yemenis living in areas outside of Yemen. Pray specifically that they might find "The Truth," and in turn to share that truth with friends and family back in Yemen.
Pray for the Great Commission Christians serving to share the Gospel throughout Soqotra. Pray specifically that they would know and follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Pray that God would raise up scores of people to join with us as we lift up all the people of Yemen before His throne, seeking His mercy and power for their lives.
Ask the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into Yemen to minister life to the Socotran.

Pray that Christian radio broadcasts will soon be made available in the Socotran language.

Pray that God will give the Socotran believers boldness to share Christ with their own people.

Take authority over the spiritual principalities and powers that are keeping the Socotran bound.

Ask God to raise up prayer teams who will begin breaking up the spiritual soil of Socotra through worship and intercession.

Ask the Lord to bring forth a triumphant Socotran church for the glory of His name!
